The Bridal Guide
Dear Bride-to-Be,
I’m so glad you’re here.
This guide was created to walk you through everything you’ll need to know - pricing, how to book, what to expect, how to prepare, and how I’ll keep the morning running smoothly.
I believe beauty should feel effortless, calm, and refined. My goal is for you to look in the mirror and see yourself - radiant, confident, and comfortable.
Consider this your shortcut to the essentials, so planning makeup or hair styling feels clear and easy.
With love,
Rachel Pivetta
Aurum Bride by Rachel Pivetta
About Rachel
I’ve spent more than a decade immersed in the world of beauty - from luxury salons to television sets, classrooms, and wedding mornings across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
As a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist, Screen & Media Makeup Artist, and Educator (TAE Cert IV), I combine technical skill with a calm, nurturing energy. My brides often tell me they feel instantly at ease the moment I arrive.
I specialise in long-wear, skin-based makeup, the kind that looks flawless in daylight, photographs perfectly, and still feels like you at 10 pm. My focus is always your skin, comfort, and confidence.
I take a limited number of weddings each season to preserve the calm, attentive experience my clients value most.
I bring an educator’s precision and an artist’s intuition - so you’ll always know you’re in safe, capable, and caring hands.

Preparations
For Makeup/Skin:
Avoid new products or active facials within 2 weeks. Hydrate well and exfoliate gently.
If having a spray tan, ensure this is applied 2 days prior.
Shedule lash/brow tinting or any waxing 3-5 days prior.
Apply your contact lenses prior to the makeup application.
Do not wear any makeup to your appointment. You may wear a light moisturiser only.
Do not apply under eye patches or sheet masks the day of.
Beautiful makeup begins with beautiful skin. I always recommend that skincare and treatments are prescribed by a qualified dermal or beauty therapist to ensure your skin is at its healthiest on the day.
For Hair:
Wash your hair the night prior. Double shampoo and apply either no conditioner or ONLY apply conditioner mids to ends and rinse very well.
Blow dry the hair to smooth the cutcle. Never allow the hair to “air dry”
Never sleep in wet hair.
Do not apply any styling products or leave in treatments/oils.
Do not straighten the hair.
Wear your hair in a claw clip or loose scrunchie the day of, to avoid creasing prior to styling.
