1:1 Makeup Reset

A private makeup lesson for the moment your old routine stops making sense.

The 1:1 Makeup Reset is a private, in-studio makeup education session designed to help you understand what actually works for your face, colouring, products and lifestyle.

This is not a standard makeup application.

It is part lesson, part product audit, part colour direction and part technique reset — so you can leave with more clarity around what suits you, what to keep, what to use differently and what may be missing from your makeup bag.

This session is for you if...

  • Your old makeup routine no longer feels quite right.

  • You feel overwhelmed by products, trends or conflicting advice.

  • You keep buying products that almost work, but not quite.

  • You want to look polished, fresh and current without feeling overdone.

  • You are returning to makeup after a long break.

  • You want makeup to feel less confusing and more enjoyable.

What we can cover

Every session is tailored to you, but these are the kinds of things we may work through.

Colour + complexion direction

We look at the colour clues that change everything: warm vs cool, red-based vs yellow-based, soft vs clear, light vs deep, and how those choices translate into foundation, blush, lips and eyes.

Feature + placement strategy

How to work with your eye shape, face shape, brows, lashes, cheeks and lips so your makeup enhances what you love without feeling like you’re correcting your face.

Product + formulation troubleshooting

Why your foundation separates, concealer creases, blush disappears, powder looks heavy, or products never quite sit right — and what to use differently before buying more.

Technique + routine reset

A practical routine you can actually repeat — what order to apply things in, what to simplify, what to practise first, and what to stop forcing.

Makeup Mapping Swatches

During your session, I may use curated Makeup Mapping Swatches to help identify your practical makeup colour direction.

This is colour guidance designed specifically for makeup — looking at how temperature, undertone, depth, contrast, value and intensity influence the products and techniques that suit you best.

We may explore warm vs cool, red-based vs yellow-based, soft vs clear, light vs deep, neutrals, reds and metals — then translate that into more useful choices for foundation, blush, lips, eyes and overall makeup balance.

The goal is to help you understand your face more clearly, make better product decisions, and stop relying on guesswork every time you shop or get ready.
