These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings, services and appointments with Rachel Pivetta.

By booking an appointment, submitting an enquiry, attending a session or using this website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Services

Rachel Pivetta provides makeup education, colour direction, product guidance, personal makeup shopping, artist education, event makeup, event hair styling and related services.

Service details, inclusions, pricing and availability may change from time to time. The most current service information will be listed on this website or confirmed directly at the time of booking.

Bookings

Private appointments are available by appointment only.

For self-booked appointments, a booking fee may be required to secure your appointment time. Your appointment is not confirmed until the booking process is complete and any required booking fee has been paid.

For enquiry-based services, such as weddings, commercial work, creative projects or custom education, bookings are not confirmed until Rachel has accepted the booking and any required retainer, invoice or written confirmation has been completed.

Booking fees and payment

For 1:1 Makeup Reset, Personal Shopping, Event Hair and Event Makeup appointments, a $100 booking fee is required to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance due on the day.

Booking fees are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new appointment time with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations, reschedule requests or no-shows within 48 hours may result in the booking fee being forfeited.

Remaining balances are due on the day of the appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice where possible.

Where sufficient notice is provided, your booking fee may be transferred to a new appointment time.

Repeated rescheduling, late changes or failure to attend may result in the booking fee being forfeited or a new booking fee being required.

Cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, or do not attend your appointment, your booking fee may be forfeited.

Rachel Pivetta reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an appointment due to illness, emergency, unsafe conditions, unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside reasonable control. If Rachel needs to reschedule your appointment, you will be offered a suitable alternative appointment time.

Illness

Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell, contagious, have a fever, active cold or flu symptoms, gastro symptoms, active skin infection, conjunctivitis, cold sores or any other condition that may affect hygiene, safety or comfort during the appointment.

If you are unwell, please contact Rachel as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling.

Rachel reserves the right to decline or reschedule a service if it is not safe or appropriate to proceed.

Allergies, sensitivities and skin conditions

Clients are responsible for disclosing any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, medical conditions, recent treatments, medications, ingredient concerns or relevant health information prior to the appointment.

While care is taken when discussing and using products, Rachel Pivetta cannot guarantee that a product will be suitable for every individual skin type or sensitivity.

If you have a known allergy, sensitivity or skin concern, you should seek medical advice where appropriate before using new products.

Product recommendations

Product recommendations are provided as general makeup, colour, formulation and routine guidance based on the information available during the session.

Recommendations are not medical advice, dermatological advice or a guarantee of product performance.

Clients are responsible for deciding whether to purchase or use recommended products, and for checking ingredients, suitability and return policies before purchasing.

Personal Makeup Shopping

Personal Makeup Shopping sessions are independent guidance sessions. Rachel Pivetta is not employed by, affiliated with, sponsored by or representing any store, retailer or brand unless clearly stated.

Any products purchased during or after a Personal Makeup Shopping session are purchased directly from the retailer by the client. Retailer pricing, availability, refunds, exchanges and return policies are the responsibility of the retailer.

Event Makeup & Hair Styling Services

Event makeup and event hair styling services include non-bridal occasion bookings such as formals, events, celebrations, photoshoots, branding sessions and other special occasion services booked with Rachel Pivetta.

Clients are responsible for following the relevant preparation guide provided before the appointment.

For makeup appointments, please arrive with clean, moisturised skin where possible and disclose any allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, eye conditions, medical conditions, recent treatments or product reactions before your appointment.

For hair styling appointments, please arrive with clean, completely dry hair unless otherwise directed. Arriving with wet, damp, heavily tangled or unprepared hair may limit the style that can be achieved within the appointment time.

False lashes may be used where suitable for the makeup look, eye shape and client comfort. Please disclose any sensitivity to lash glue or preference not to wear false lashes before the appointment. If you have lash extensions, please arrive with them clean and brushed. Lash extensions may affect the products and techniques that can be used around the eyes and may limit how the eye shape can be enhanced or balanced.

Hair styling results can vary depending on hair length, thickness, cut, layers, texture, condition, extensions, weather, humidity and how well your hair holds curl or structure. Some reference images may need to be adapted to suit your hair, appointment timing and event conditions.

Some hairstyles require additional time, particularly longer, fuller or more detailed styles, including styles using hair extensions. Additional fees may apply where extra time is required. This cannot always be accommodated on the day if there are surrounding appointments, so please contact Rachel in advance if you are unsure.

Please raise any requested adjustments during your appointment so they can be made before you leave. Once the service is completed and you have approved the final look or style, the appointment is considered complete.

Completed services are non-refundable. Additional changes, re-styling, re-application or further appointments requested after the appointment has ended are not included unless otherwise agreed and may incur additional fees.

Photography, video and content

Photos or videos may only be taken or used for marketing, educational or social media purposes with client consent.

Clients may decline photography or video at any time.

Where consent is given, Rachel Pivetta will take care to use images respectfully and in line with the consent provided.

Client conduct

Rachel Pivetta aims to provide a respectful, safe and professional environment.

Rachel reserves the right to refuse, stop or reschedule a service if a client behaves in a way that is unsafe, disrespectful, threatening, inappropriate or prevents the service from being carried out professionally.

Results and expectations

Makeup education and product guidance are individual. Results may vary depending on skin type, product condition, application technique, product compatibility, lighting, lifestyle, budget, preferences and other individual factors.

The goal of each session is to provide education, clarity and practical direction, not to guarantee a specific outcome, transformation or product result.

For event makeup and hair styling services, outcomes may vary depending on skin condition, hair condition, preparation, product compatibility, lighting, weather, humidity, event conditions, personal preference and other factors outside Rachel’s control.

Gift vouchers

If gift vouchers are offered, voucher terms, expiry dates and service inclusions will be provided at the time of purchase.

Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
